This guide is intended to be used with the Peak Asic Temperature Sensor Fix PCB. You can purchase this PCB here!
**Overview:**
The Peak Asic Temp Fix is a PCB with a temperature sensor that can be used to replace missing or faulty LM75A temperature sensors on Antminers. It can be installed by soldering the pins 3V, GND, SDA, and SCL to any existing working I2C line or temperature sensor. This manual will guide you through the installation process.
**Materials Needed:**
- Peak Asic Temp Fix PCB
- High-temperature epoxy
- Soldering iron and solder
- Wire strippers and cutters
- Multimeter
**Installation Steps:**
1. Identify the temperature sensor you are replacing and ensure that the address is correct. You can change the address by moving the resistors around to high or low on pins A0, A1, A2. See the diagram for details.
2. Find a suitable location on the board for the Peak Asic Temp Fix. Make sure that it is close enough to the sensor it is replacing to accurately measure the temperature. Use high-temperature epoxy to glue the PCB to the board.
3. Solder the pins 3V, GND, SDA, and SCL to the corresponding points on the board. Double-check your connections with a multimeter. ****The TMP75 pin diagram is below so you know where to attach the wires.
4. Test the Peak Asic Temp Fix by powering on the Antminer and monitoring the temperature readings. The readings should be accurate and stable.
**Note:** The Peak Asic Temp Fix only repairs the temperature sensors, and the board may still require additional asic repairs if it has other issues, such as bad ASIC chips.
**Safety Precautions:**
- Always wear appropriate safety gear when soldering, such as gloves and eye protection.
- Use caution when handling high-temperature epoxy to avoid burns or skin irritation.
- Ensure that the Antminer is unplugged and disconnected from any power sources before installing the Peak Asic Temp Fix.
